Get well Russell Wilson…

An MRI revealed Russell Wilson suffered a sprain in the medial collateral ligament of his left knee, but Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is maintaining an optimistic tone about his quarterback.

Carroll said that Wilson was recovering “exceedingly well” and the current plan is to play him Sunday against the New York Jets.

“He is remarkably well off for having a play like that,” Carroll said. “He looks good.”
