The suit claimed that Diddy co-signed the bank documents and they both stopped paying on the loan back in July 2010. The bank said a total of $622,518.34 was owed and they filed suit demanding the full amount IMMEDIATELY, along with a court order allowing them to sell off the home at a foreclosure auction.
Here’s an update on that situation.
The Mount Vernon native, whose real name is Sean Combs, is the co-signer on a mortgage for a home at 16 Brookridge Road with Taneika Hooten, the mother of Combs’ son Justin.
Hooten, also known as Misa Brim, and Combs lost the home on Feb. 29 and the court is selling the property so that the lender, Citimortgage, can recover $973,426.15 for a lien plus interest and costs.
The couple took a $712,000 mortgage in 2003 with an interest rate of 5.625 percent, according to court records. Source
