Social media is not letting up on Kendall’s edges anytime soon and rightfully so.
Yesterday, Pepsi quickly remove there ads and little Kendall is disappointed by the backlash.
Sources told ET that the ad — which TMZ reports was actually filmed in Thailand — was never supposed to air in the U.S., but eventually made the rounds online. In a now deleted tweet, Jenner touted its release, excitedly sharing it with her followers with the caption, “Out now!”
This is the first controversial campaign she has been involved with,” the source said. “Even though she had nothing to do with the production and the message of the campaign, she will be blamed for this since she is the face.”
Still, the source maintains that Jenner’s career will bounce back from the controversy. They also explained the reason Jenner has yet to comment publicly on the issue, saying she is currently locked into an agreement with Pepsi that prevents her from speaking out without their approval.
“Kendall relied on Pepsi to do their due diligence and trusted that it would be tasteful,” the source told ET.
