UPDATE [12:03 p.m.]: Both drivers have been charged in connection with this morning’s crash and chemical spill on the Downtown Connector, Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News. Police have not specified the charges. AJC

Another traveling problem for my ATLiens.

A few weeks ago, Three people have been charged in connection to a Thursday fire north of downtown Atlanta that resulted in the collapse of an elevated span of Interstate 85, a major city thoroughfare that connects five states. Click Here if you missed that.

Now this..

According to reports, Drivers are having to navigate around a buckling part of the road on Interstate 20 west.

Viewers sent photos of a large, cracked bump in the HOV lane between the Flat Shoals Road exit and Gresham Road overpass.

Several lanes of the interstate have been blocked as crew assess the situation.

Channel 2’s Tom Regan reports at the scene the scene is caused by a gas leak.
