Blac Chyna wins round ONE in legal battle with her ex. Rob K.
Last week the 30-year-old Kardashian posted sexually explicit images of Chyna former fiancee and mother of their daughter dream. In a Twitter rant he accused her of cheating on her and using him for his money. Instagram shut down his account but now Lisa bloom, an attorney for Blac Chyna is filing for a temporary restraining order against Kardashian. In California revenge porn is a crime, a civil wrong and a form of domestic abuse.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner James E. Blancarte issued the order Monday pending a hearing set for Aug. 8. Blancarte did not detail what the restraining order restrictions would entail at a brief hearing. He said his primary concern was Kardashian and Chyna’s infant, according to the Associated Press.
Kardashian, 30, posted the images Wednesday while accusing Chyna, the mother of his child, of cheating on him.
During press conference outside the courthouse on Monday morning, Chyna told reporters: “I would first and foremost like the thank the judge for granting me this restraining order to protect me, and I’m going to get back to co-parenting Dream.” Bloom also gave a statement: “I’m pleased to announce that in court this morning we had a complete and total victory. The judge gave us everything we asked for, which is a set of very strong and enforceable restraining orders against Rob Kardashian, restraining him from coming near her and restraining him from cyberbulling, restraining him from posting anything about her online of personal nature, including photos and videos. As we have said all along, revenge porn is a form of domestic abuse and is also a crime in California and 38 other states, and it’s a civil wrong. I have been very pleased to stand with Chyna and Walter on this important women’s rights issue.”
In similar news, Rob Kardashian’s lawyer Robert Shapiro says the reality star is sorry for sharing naked photos and making claims about his former fiancée, Blac Chyna, in a social media rampage last week.
The 30-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s actions were “a spontaneous reaction that he regrets,” Shapiro told TMZ in a statement on Monday, July 10. “Rob’s only concern is for the well-being of baby Dream.”
