CNN anchor Don Lemon’s oldest sister died in an accidental drowning in Livingston Parish on Wednesday (Jan. 31)

According to reports, A woman who died in an accidental drowning in Livingston Parish on Wednesday (Jan. 31) was the older sister of CNN anchor Don Lemon, according to Christal Jones, a spokeswoman for the network.

L’Tanya “Leisa” Lemon Grimes, 58, of Denham Springs died after she fell into a neighborhood pond off of Iberia Drive in the Livingston Trace subdivision south of the Juban Road exit on I-12. Officers reported to the scene at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

 The Lemon/Grimes family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers at this time. Our family has suffered the tragic loss of L’Tanya “Leisa” Lemon Grimes and we are leaning on each other for strength at this time. We appreciate privacy as we grieve the loss of our loved one.

 

Jim Carrey Wrongful Death Lawsuit Dismissed

A wrongful death lawsuit brought against Jim Carrey in regards to the 2015 suicide of his former girlfriend has been dismissed.

According to reports, Jim Carrey will no longer be facing a wrongful death lawsuit in connection with his ex-girlfriend’s suicide, according to reports.

“I can confirm that the case was dismissed,” Carrey’s attorney Ray Boucher told The Post in a statement without elaborating.

A rep for the actor — whose former gal pal Cathriona White died of a drug overdose in 2015 — said “he is extremely grateful to everyone in his life who supported him throughout this challenging episode.”

Carrey, 56, was sued for wrongful death in 2016 by White’s estranged husband, Mark Burton, and her mother, Brigid Sweetman, both of whom accused him of illegally obtaining prescription drugs for her.

Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Maroon 5, Charlie Puth and the Backstreet Boys will perform at the fifth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 11.

The first round of performers was announced Thursday for the awards show, airing live from the Forum in Los Angeles starting at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Model Hailey Baldwin and DJ Khaled will be the show’s hosts, which will simulcast live on TBS, TNT and truTV as well as on iHeartMedia radio stations and the iHeartRadio app.

Comedian Hannibal Buress Disorderly Intoxication Case Dismissed

Last year, Comedian Hannibal Buress was arrested…Hannibal Buress had to be physically pushed into a police car when he was arrested after a heated confrontation with cops. This video show the famous comedian after he was cuffed at around 2 AM Sunday, challenging Miami cops to justify the detention, repeatedly asking them to explain what probable cause they had.
